OUR PHILANTHROPY

At Alpha Phi, we put our hearts into raising money for Women's cardiac care. The majority of proceeds raised from our events are donated to omen's cardiac care. The Alpha Phi Foundation and the Bryan Hearth Health Foundation are amazing organizations that benefit women's heart health. The Alpha Phi Foundation also raises money for leadership, heritage, scholarships, and assistance grants. 

RED DRESS GALA

Our spring philanthropy is Red Dress Gala, an evening that consists of cocktail hour, auctions, a formal dinner and entertainment! Many of our parents, friends and family travel to Lincoln for this special night. This event raises money and awareness for the #1 killer of women, Heart Disease. Over the last two years, we’ve been able to raise over $68,000 for women’s heart health.

OTHER EVENTS

Our chapter has proudly hosted a variety of philanthropic events to support women's heart health and give back to our community! Some of our favorite events include Aphi Heartthrob, Mac & Phi’s, Poker Night, Phi Feud, and the Alpha Phi Open. Each event brings something unique to campus—whether it's raising funds through a fun-filled game night or bringing people together for a good cause over comfort food!

A HISTORY IN SERVICE

Since 1946, Alpha Phi has focused on women's heart disease and cardiac care as a philanthropic priority. Today, research into the diagnosis and treatment of women's heart disease is still the primary interest of the Alpha Phi Foundation. 

Alpha Phi was the first sorority to form its own foundation. Over the years this organization has helped countless people. Each year, the Nu chapter does its best to continue to contribute to the growth of the organization through service.
